Why XD have to restrict to opening existing documents to we update XD?

When an update published for XD, if we dont upgrade the XD then it is just restricting the opening of existing documents by throwing following error.

This is so painful, XD is just forcing me to upgrade to latest version. Imagine if we are in middle of an important work and this error is just stopping us move forward.

Adobe XD team have to improvise the tool to suggest the upgrade but not to force the user to do the upgrade.
