Windows switch between open documents

Trying to wrap my head around the fastest way to switch between open documents on Windows. Ctrl+` doesn't work (Cmd+` works on Mac), there is no "Window" menu to choose from. Is the fastest way to hover over the app icon in the dock and choose between the docs that way? Or Alt+Tab to another open doc?

Each document opens up in a separate window, so Alt+Tab is the best way to tab between them.
