Workflow with shared libraries - or relink assets to another library

Hello,

I was wondering whether I can relink assets from the documents own library to a shared library.

I am putting together a styleguide and everytime I have finished a page, I copy it into another document, which is available to the developers. So basically I have a working document and a presentation document.

Now I am getting doubt whether this was such a good idea ;-), as my assets have not been copied. Even as I published the library to the prestentaion document, the assets aren't linked to the assets (of course with the exact same name). 

Any advice on a better workflow and /or the relinking part?
