XD 44, Hangs when font tool is used.

XD hangs while trying to type a text or edit an existing text. I am getting this issue when I use xd for more than 6 hours and it is not a system performance issue as my other applications are running fine.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please share a few more details like:

 

  1. The version of XD and OS.
  2. If you have Windows OS, please ensure that you have installed the latest OS updates and drivers.
  3. Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files?
  4. Is this happening while using a specific font?

Please check my response given below

  1. The version of XD and OS. - Version 44.1.12.5. & Windows 10 Home 20H2
  2. If you have Windows OS, please ensure that you have installed the latest OS updates and drivers. - Yes
  3. Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files? - Most of the files
  4. Is this happening while using a specific font? - Any font.

Now XD has started hanging even without the usage of font tool. Suddenly the application freezes and I am not able to even draw a line or do any activity in the application. Taking hours to complete a small task.
