XD (56.1.12.1 arm64) freezes on closing

My Adobe XD app on MacOS Ventura 13.4 keeps draining my CPU (MacOS shows high energy consumption) even when it is minimized. When I want to close the application, it freezes and continues to drain the CPU. I have to force quit XD to get to the normal.

I tried the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool, restarted the computer many times, but nothing helped. I am attaching the console log and crash dump for investigation. Please help. Peter

Hi, @elegant_leader5EE4 . You wrote on Jun 06, 2023, that "We are always here to help you.". Since then, 3 weeks have passed and I still do not have any clue or feedback from Adobe on how to solve my problem with XD. Did you check my logs? It there something suspicious? Do you have any advice what to do next?

Hi Kobozy,

 

I'm really sorry for the delay in response. I was on leave so had limited access.

Our engineers have looked into your logs and we have release new verion of XD 57.1 with some fixes and minor improvements.

I request you to please update to XD 57.1 and see if it fixes your issue.

Hi @elegant_leader5EE4 , I have updated Adobe XD to 57.1 as you suggested, but there is no difference, XD freezes on closing. I am attachning the log files. Please let me know how is this possible - is it perhaps some kind of my specific issue? Aren't there any other MacBookPro M1 Max useres of XD with the same problem?

Is there anyone from Adobe who can help me? This is unbelievable, that after paying 12 € each month nobody wants to help me with my problem.

Today we have released XD 57. Request you to please update to XD 57.

Let us know if this fixes your issue. If you're still facing this issue, please share us the console and dump as attached for XD 56.1
