XD and creative cloud library workflow suggestions. Saving JPG as tif instead

Our company has recently adopted XD as the primary design program and utilizing creative cloud librabries to reflect photo editing in real time between multiple teams. 

1) We've found there's no simple way to go from a JPG to a different file formart (PSD, TIF) without first saving locally and replacing. Is there a solution for this? It seems Creative Cloud does not like you saving as a different format. 

2) Does anyone have an efficient workflow process they currently use to go between designers, photo editors etc?
