XD can't load or create cloud documents?

I'm having trouble with XD. It is not loading my cloud documents, and neither allowing me to create new documents. This happened after I shifted from my old MacBook to a new one. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions found on this page (https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/kb/fix-issues-with-xd-cloud-documents.html), but nothing works. When I try to log out of my creative cloud account from my old MacBook, it says that the creative cloud cannot connect to the Adobe servers. What do I do? Please help as soon as possible as I have an assignment to submit soon, and I cannot do it without XD!!!
