I've sent a report to Adobe after crash, but anyway - is there any possibility to open a temporary file that is usually created by Adobe software during usage?

Thanks.

Hey guys, starting with XD 8.0 (released yesterday), you will no longer lose your work in the event of a crash or some other event that causes XD to terminate unexpectedly.

My XD is frequently crashing. It seems to be able to recover.

However, it should not crash this much. I think, it is related to some other issues with Win10 updates. Usually, if MS Tasks app does not start, I also have a lot of crashes with the XD.

To fix this, the only solution I have found so far is to restart the computer.

I just had this same thing happen to me 2 days in a row. Have the latest version. I have now lost 6 hours of work. I think it is time to switch back to Sketch :/  I was really hoping I could stick with Adobe on this one.

    Hi guys,

Adobe XD 8.1 fixes this issue and is now live, please check the Apps section in the Adobe Creative Cloud (use "Check for App Updates" if you can't see the update yet).

    Thanks,

    Radu.

I don't seem to have any way to get the latest. It says I have 8.0.22.11 but there is no ability to update. "Check for App Updates" is also greyed out.

I am on a new imac with High Sierra. So I don't think it is a limitation of my OS.

    Hi Radustavila

My colleagues XD just crashed and he lost a whole days work even though he was periodically saving (it seems as though it didn't actually save). He updated his XD this am so he should be running the latest version, is there anyway we can recover his files?

My XD started crashing with the latest update. It happens randomly, and I seem to be losing all my work. Just need to save often...

    Using Windows 10.

The same issue with Windows version as well, XD randomly just crashed. I lost most of the work I did in the last 30 minutes.

From what I know, there isn't an auto-recover feature in Adobe XD.  I think this is the feature you are looking for Auto Save (in case of system crash) – Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs

The team is looking into this request. Until the feature makes it to the software, please save your files regularly to avoid losing your work.

    Thanks,
