XD does not launch on macOS Ventura

Hi,

 

Since I've installed macOS Ventura I am not able to open XD. The XD icon keeps bouncing in the task bar but nothing happens. When I open the "force quit" window it says XD is not responding. 

 

I've tried everything including tips on this forum (Adobe Cleaner tool). Unfortunatly nothing seems to work. I even reinstalled CC.

 

Hopefully someone has a solution, thanks in advance.

Hi @stevenv55643394 ,

 

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the steps shared below:

 

  1. Please access System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access and enable XD.
  2. Sign out of XD & CC Desktop app.
  3. Close CoreSync and all Adobe processes from the activity monitor.
  4. Reboot the mac.
  5. Sign back on the Adobe CC Desktop app and launch XD from there.

Thank you Rishabh,

 

I've followed your steps, I've tried it twice, but unfortunatly I still have the same problem. At step 3 I closed all the precesses but CoreSync wasn't running, so I did not need to close it either (not sure if that matters).
