Question

XD forcing sign in on all public share links.

Is there something down or broken right now with link sharing? Our clients can't view our XD links anymore without being prompted to sign in / create an account. It loops straight to this page:

"Anyone with the link" is always selected on our designs and they do not have any voice features enabed. If this isn't fixed asap it will be a huge problem that could potentially lead our company to dropping Adobe entirely, we cannot burden clients or team members with having to create an account just to view / share design work.

I had this problem a while back. Turned out Adobe requires logging in for using any voice interactions with prototypes.

If you have some interactions with voice commands or you added one by mistake on an element without realizing it, that might be causing the login screens.

If you're sure that's not the case, it would be helpful give us a sample 'broken' link that requires a login, but shouldn't, and the file it was generated from, so we can try to find out what might be causing it.

I think this may be solved now. For our design team with  Adobe accounts, we are still being re-directed to login and choose a profile, but I'm assuming that is being triggered if the browser detects we are not logged in, and prompts us to choose a profile. We asked coworkers without an Adobe account if they can view some prototypes and they can actually see them without the sign-in wall. Never happened before, so we were worried. Thanks!

Glad to hear the issue is resolved! 🙂

And yes, when you have an Adobe account, for some reason Adobe's systems won't just keep you logged in. You still get redirected to the login screen, get signed in automatically in a few seconds, and then get redirected back to the original page... 🙂
