XD | Plugin Install Issue | Mac mini M2

Cannot install plugins for XD in Creative Cloud desktop app. 

 

Shows error sign next to "Get", with the message "Compatible app required. Install and relaunch the latest version of Adobe XD in order to install XD plugins."

 

- Adobe CC and XD are up to date

- Adobe CC has "full disk access"

- Tried reinstalling both apps and rebooting

- Tried fixing permission error https://helpx.adobe.com/in/xd/kb/issues-installing-xd-plugins.html

- Tried https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-common-addon-installation-issues.html

 

Sidenote: Plugins for Photoshop also can't be installed. The installation process runs indefinitely...

Sorry to hear about the trouble and for the delay in response. Thank you for trying the possible troubleshooting steps. As you confirmed that you're unable to install plugins for Photoshop as well, it initially looks like a permission issue; however, as you mentioned you have already provided full disk access, we'll need to identify the root cause of the problem, so would you mind sharing the exact version of XD and macOS? Could you also confirm if you have changed the installation location of the XD app?
