XD preview capture animation video has rounded corners under Mac OS

I wanted to capture a basic textanimation for an instagram story using the capture function in the XD preview window (top right). Unfortunately the bottom two corners are always rounded and therefore make the resulting file unusable. Is there a workaround?

    Hi @madkom03 ,

     

    Thanks for reaching out. This is something that we have already escalated to the Engineering team. The recording uses a rectangular crop area that includes only the frame of the preview window on the screen. Since the window has rounded corners the recording captures what is behind the window for the area between the corners and the capture area. 

    A workaround that we could apply is to add some padding so that the preview content doesn't end up in the corners of the window and gets clipped by the window.
