XD Sharing files, linked components, crashing software

My team has been trying to use XD for a large project and have run into significant XD issues and limitations that have made it nearly impossible to confidently work with this software.

- have daily issues sharing files -- if we can actaully create a share link or invite to share a document, we also create a local file becasue we are not sure anything will work. Specifically

- have not been able to invite team to view and work with a shared file

- have not been able to open an invited to share file to view or work on

- have not been able to confidently create boards using UI Kit components, they revert to the original UI Kit state 

- the software crashes

We are resorting to the following solutions

- save all files locally then upload to the cloud and hope we are able to share as well as share the local file with team

- unlink components from master to maintain edits

- work in pieces rather than a master file

To describe this as time consuming, frustrating and stressful would be an understatement. If you have some viable suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
