XD stuck at syncing when opening a shared work file

Adobe XD is stuck in infinite syncing. Only affecting this file specifically.

Tried all the suggested fix but it is still not working. Quite a major impediment. Please help.

    Did you try to rename it and save and publish as fresh file?

    I did but it became a fresh file which worked. But I'm not the owner and the original file is shared with clients as well as other designers. When it was saved as a fresh file, all the people that have been added to it is gone.
