Here we go again. Happens with every update. Files that weren't even touched from one day to the next suddenly go from smooth sailing to barely able to function. Yes I have the latest version, yes I have plenty of RAM, yes it happens with every file. Adobe, please fix your servers/performace issues. We can't get any work done today because of this.

Hi riascureman,

We are sorry for the frustration. This is definitely not expected, we will definitely highlight this to our product team. Could you please help us with some logs?

We would request you to please share the spin dump as well along with the logs so that we can share with them.

Steps to collect Spin dump-

Win

  • Launch Task Manager
  • Select the Adobe XD process
  • Right click on the Adobe XD process
  • Select “Create dump file”
  • This will generate a binary file

Mac

  • Launch Activity Monitor
  • Select Adobe XD process (might show as “Not Responding”)
  • Click on the gear in the upper left of the Activity Monitor
  • Select “Spindump”
  • This will generate a text file

Once you generated both the logs, please upload the files to a shared location such as CC or Dropbox and share the URL with me over a private message. Please also share the details of your operating system and the screenshot of About XD info page.

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
