XD unusable on secondary monitor in Sonoma

Since Sonoma I've noticed that the latest version of XD is completely unusable on the secondary monitor (i.e. the monitor without the menubar, not necesarily an external monitor). It works find on my external display which is setup as the main montior (i.e. the one with my Mac menubar) but on the build-in display of my M2 MacBook Air it is completely unusable. Screen refreshes when panning or zoom lay by literally 3-5 seconds.
