XD Voice over for presentaion no longer works

When trying to do a voice narration to a prototype there is no sound what so ever. It used to work but as of the last update it doesn’t. Been trying to get this to work for my class for over a week, a lot of wasted time and I’m beyond frustrated.

OS Mojave 10.14.6
Adobe XD 37.1.32.2
Mic Samson CO1U usb

What I've tried.

Mic works with all other programs I use it with. Did a full screen voice narration using QT with no problems.

Used the mic to dictate a phrase in XD on the art-board No Problem.

Checked Audio Midi input and output and it’s all set correctly.

In Systems Pref under Security/Privacy Adobe XD is checked

I’ve Removed XD and Uploaded it again Twice. Still nothing.

Read every article I could find in browser search and in the Adobe Community 3 times for no solution. Watched countless videos in Adobe Help and on YouTube with no viable solution.

Never had the Soundflower app on my computer.

I even tried to run it on High Sierra 10.13 and it will not record sound.
I wish you guys would enable the preference for XD.
