128kbps MP3 sound channel bug

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has run into this? It's referenced around the web in a number of old posts.

Basically with MP3s of 128kpbs or lower, the sound channel doesn't seem to compute the sound length correctly, and this leads to the sound channel position hanging at a certain point in the MP3 and never completing.

My app plays MP3s, some of which from the client library are 128, and I don't want to create a secondary version of thousands of MP3s for use in it at 192kpbs.

Has anyone here experienced the issue, and if so, how did you get around it - if you did?

Thanks

I have done a lot of MP3 playing at 64 kbps, so I'm not sure why 128 kbps would be a problem. Is the bit depth 16, and sample rate 44100 Hz? Those are things that could cause issues.
