I accidentally deleted AIR from my HP pc

and about half of my icons on my screen now display a blank document like when its an unknown file. I have tried unsuccessfully to redownload AIR but after I go thru the initial process, it wants me to chooses a program to open it. So it goes into this whole circle and never does anything. Those icons for certain programs also open up the window requesting to choose a program which to open them with. Even Explorer I can't open. HELP!!!!!!!!! What began this whole fiasco was I downloaded Adobe Reader 5 and it stated it MIGHT be corrupt so I deleted it and I MUST have also removed AIR by accident................

You should be able to download the latest version of AIR here:

http://get.adobe.com/air/

This will download a .exe, which will run without the assistance of any other application.  However, if you're having problems with Explorer then this leads me to believe that you might have something else effecting your system.  I would recommend contacting Microsoft if your Explorer issues continue.

Thanks,

Chris
