adobe air and mac 10.12 not working together

I'm trying to install and app called "Pass". It uses adobe air. For some unknown reason to me, it will not work. Could it be I need to use a different version of adobe air. I'm using a MAC version 10.12 and I have the newest version of adobe air: 23.0.0.257. Someone please help!
