Adobe Air crashes while updating

I have been using adobe download assistant to login and install a trial product of dreamweaver, when I come to attempt to try this I go ahead and update adobe air as it required a update. Adobe air crashed completely to the point when I wanted shut all adobe programs off. This hasn't been the first time it happened, it did it twice. Adobe cant do nothing about it! Is there a way I can fix the adobe air crash? Thank you.
