I downloaded a program from a safe site but when I try to open it I get the following message:  Adobe AIR  This installation of this application is damaged.  Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance.       I uninstalled Adobe AIR and reinstalled several times and get the same message.  Any suggestions?  Thank you

Hello,

When you run the installer, do you get any errors?  If so could you post your AIR installer log so we can review it?

Installer log output: Windows, Mac, Linux

Finally, could you try uninstalling the application (and not the AIR runtime), then reinstall and see if that resolves the problem?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris, I'm not computer smart enough to know where to put

the..........C:\Users\ user name\AppData\Local\Adobe\AIR\logs

The only error I got was when I tried to open the application and it

said that Adobe AIR was damaged. I uninstalled the program and have

been waiting for the company to send me another installation

key. It's the Jacquie Lawson website and the London Advent

Calendar. They say I will hear from them in 48 hours, usually less

and I've been waiting four days! Everything else seems to be working

on my computer although I have no idea what programs use Adobe

AIR. I'll let you know what happens when I reinstall the program. Emmy

Thanks Emmy.  Do you have a link to this application?  I'd be happy to try to install it on my system.  If you'd like to keep it private, please email me at ccampbel@adobe.com.

Thanks,
Chris
