Adobe Air "Damaged"

Hello! I am currently running on Mac OS Catalina and I tried installing Adobe Air multiple times tonight. I kept recieving the same error message "Adobe AIR.framework is damaged and can't be opened." I need this software to run another application that I am using for school. Any help would be appreciated!
