Adobe Air Download Problems

If I Google Adobe Air Download I'm directed to the download page  and If I click on download I'm redirected to adobe.com if I then select Adobe Air I'm redirected to the same download page I was originally on and, if I select download, I'm again redirected to adobe.com ... etc etc. and so on.  It makes no difference if I'm logged in or not.  So how do I update Adobe Air to the most current version?  I'm using the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

I had the same issue. Looks like ad blockers see something suspicious in the download link and block/reroute it. I disabled uBlock and it worked immediately.

Hi,

Yes this is already known. In case you have any ad-blockers/ extensions like ghostery installed, you need to disable the same before downloading.

Thanks!

It would be really helpful if someone added a note to that effect on the download page then — some people (like me) forget they have an adblocker running some times, and that loop is immensely frustrating.

Just ran across this problem in Firefox and Vivaldi (Chrome) on OS X and pinned it down to the Ghostery extension blocking some Adobe trackers - specifically "Adobe Dynamic Tag Management" and "Omniture (Adobe Analytics)." It's possible other extensions such as NoScript or RequestPolicy could also block those trackers and break the page in the same way.

Oddly, other "get.adobe.com" pages seem to be unaffected: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ & https://get.adobe.com/reader/ both work fine for me even with all trackers blocked.

I came across the same problem. After I disabled Ghostery in Chrome I was able to download Air.

Thank you!

Same issue. I'm using Chrome. I'll try Firefox also. OK. It downloads correctly in FF, now I'll see if it will install correctly. Yep, good to go.

Hi,

Which geographical location are you facing the problem? Are you still observing the same issue?

Thanks!

Same problem with IE11.

I've got the exact same issue, with Windows 10.  Get caught in an endless loop of get.adobe.com/air/, which leads to adobe.com, which leads back to get.adobe.com/air/  No downloading ever happens.  Tried contacting Support thru Chat...he said it's a free download and to get help from the forums.

Problem seems to be with Chrome.  I went through a different browser and it downloaded immediately.

Appreciate the information.  I use Firefox and Windows 7.  I ultimately found it elsewhere online, but next time I'll try a different Browser.

Thanks for the reply, but Adobe - AIR is the download page I referred to in my post.
