Adobe AIR Is Not Showing Up in my MacBook Air

Hello,

I need Adobe AIR to run software for a lab. However, after downloading the Installer and running it and installing AIR, it is no where in my computer, and furthermore I cannot run the software. I've contacted Apple and they said it was an Adobe issue. 

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling AIR, and the software. Additionally, I've updated by Mac to the latest date, and restarted it twice. Nothing unfortunately has worked thus far.

Any help would be appreciated!
