Adobe air support for Android

I am recently aware that adobe has removed adobe air from the play store. If you already had it installed on your device it will continue to be supported and if you didn't have it installed then its no longer supported. My question is that I use an app for work that requires adobe air to run. I just got a new android phone and I'm unable to get the app to work without adobe air. I have try installing the apk but still no luck. I am wondering if their is any way to fix this! I need this app to work probably for work!
