Adobe installer won't load

I currently play league of legends and bought a new computer.

It is windows 7 home premium 64 bit.  When trying to install adobe air the installer shows up in the system processes but it never physically loads.  The log just gives this:

What is the deal?  I've never had this problem before.

I installed adobe reader with no problems.
