AdobeAir Won't Upgrade

I am getting this error when trying to update my AdobeAir.  I am an administrator on my machine.. have tried setting up another administrator account.. read all of the forum information and nothing is working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have tried everything.  I cannot uninstall Adobe Air to get a fresh install.  I have full administrative rights on my laptop and tried to remove it manually and clean up the registry but it still shows up in my installed programs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is your operating system & version?

I would try to uninstall your current AIR installation, then install the newest version.

I have Windows 7 64 bit Home Edition.

I'm sorry you're running into installation issues with AIR.  Microsoft has released a utility that can help resolve installation problems.  Would you mind giving this a try and let us know how it works for you?  When running the Fix it, go through the uninstall process and try to remove Adobe AIR from your system.  Once finished, download the latest version of AIR and install again.

If you still encounter problems, we'll need to review the AIR installer log to better diagnose the issue.  Please post back with the log contents.  You can find instructions for finding these logs here:
