Adone Air 3.2 Bug: Video through Firewire crops the image rather than adjusts the Resolution

My team has created a live streaming tool with Adobe Air, and ever since the release of 3.2 for Adobe Air, all customers who use Firewire ( nearly all high school media labs ) have complained about the streamer producing ultra zoomed in pictures.  Through testing, we discovered that all interfaces other than Firewire were fine,but using a analog to digital converter ( Canopus ) plug-ed in with a firewire cable to the laptop would product a zoomed image.  Only when we would set the resolution to match the input would it look normal.  Instead of adjusting the resolution, it would simply crop the image.

It used to retain the frame, and simple improve the quality / degrade the quality when a user would adjust the resolution of the video object through our Air Intraface.

This did not happen prior to the release, and now is easily repeatable. 

Please advise when this bug report might be addressed.
