Adoption time from C++ experience to Flash CS3 Professional and ActionScript 2.0

- What is the time frame that an experienced C++ software engineer would need in order to adapt to Adobe Flash technologies,  e.g. Flash CS3 Professional and ActionScript 2.0 such that he/she will be able to produce industrial quality contributions under  time constraints?  Please share you experiences and opinions.
