One my AIR3.1 applications is taking > 2 hours to compile to a ipa-app-store package

Totally unworkable. Anyone have any idea where this time may be lost?

Thanks

Leon

Hi!

Is there some answer yet?

Maybe I've got the same problem:

I tried to compile for iOS (not for the App Store but for debugging), but the compiler seems stuck at 57% right after giving my password for the p12 key (which is recognized as correct). There is no error, no freezing or any other hint that something's not right, but no .ipa is created no matter how long I wait (but I think I didn't wait for more than 2 hours...).

I already updated my Flash Builder from 4.5 to 4.6 but nothing changed.

I'm really stuck because I absolutely don't know where to look for a solution!

Is there someone who can shed some light on this?

Regards,

a-m

Adobe never contact me but we managed to find the cause of our problem. The  issue was the amount of data we hard coded in the application. Our App is a word game which needed cards with letters on it and there was a tipping point (514 card!) after which it just died. So 513 and all is well 514 and it never compiles.

Not sure that's your problem but maybe it helps

Hm - I don't think that's my problem... Another guy (with a similar problem) told me that he had a problem with special characters but that, too, isn't the case with me, I'm afraid.

I will keep on searching... but thank you really much for your fast reply!
