Air 2.6 RTMP no audio on device

I posted this in Mobile Development, but maybe this area is more appropriate.  I have tried several variations (osmf, netstream/video, etc.) and the  audio and video both play in ADL, but not on the device.  I thought  maybe audio was broken in 2.6 for Android but I am able to play an  embedded mp3 file just fine in the same app.  I'm using Air 2.6 and  Android 2.3.  Any help would be great because this issue could  potentially kill a big project I'm working on.

Another update.  It's not rtmp that is the problem.  I tried loading a local video via NetStream and have the same issue.

Here's an update.  I downgraded Air to version 2.5.1.1774 and audio works now.  So either the problem is with 2.6 or the combination of 2.6 and Gingerbread.  Either way, this is still a big problem for me.
