Air 28 and 29 can't get camera to come although have privacy settings correct in XML. Could be related to NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription being required but not properly interpreted in the system. I open the plist it does not have the "privacy - "

Correct answer Lars Laborious

Have you remembered to use requestPermission() on the camera object, in your code?

Since I jumped from SDK 20 to 28 I had not realized requestPermission() was needed. That resolved the issue. Thanks

Hi,

We checked with the app-xml code provided by you at Re: Unable to set iOS camera permissions with AIR SDK 24 with AIR 28 and 29 and permissions tags are coming with "Privacy - " in info.plist. Can you please check once with the attached app-xml at your end and let us know if you still face issues.

Also, can you please specify the java version you're using and your packaging command. Are you packaging through Win or Mac ?

Thanks,
