Air 28: Status bar opens over TextField when Soft Keyboard opens

Hello,

with the latest Air SDK 28.0.0.125 we are seeing an issue where the status bar opens from the top of the view when the user taps a textfield and the soft keyboard opens. The status bar covers any content, even the TextField which the user tries to type in. Is there a way to prevent the status bar from opening when the soft keyboard is triggered?

We are using fullscreen and rendermode direct. The status bar is usually not visible and only pops up when typing.
