Air 3.2 on Kindle Fire

Has any one got it loaded on Kindle Fire or do apps need to use captive runtimes?

I load the apk onto the Fire and get "app requires a newer version..." but then there is no option to download air onto my device, both in the Appstore or the browser. Any advice?

At last check, about a month ago, you still needed Captive Runtime to run 3.2 or 3.1 on the KF, amazon does not seem to have a new air update to download, at least not for the KF. Same for the NOOK it only supports air 2.6 without captive runtime.

The error means that the AIR version present on your Kindle device is earlier than what you are using to build your app. Are you testing a pre-release build? If not, you can download the latest version of AIR from Amazon Appstore for android. This should get you going.

If you are using a pre-release build, you can install the Runtime.apk present in the sdk.
