Air 3.3 for iOS: Apple doesn't release my app

Hi,

About 10 days ago I submitted my new app built with Air 3.3 on Itunes Connect. Today its status was changed from "In review" to "Pending an Apple Release". Also the colour changed from yellow to red..

I did a quick google search about this status and it seems like my app will not be released until Apple releases a new version of iOS.

My guess is that Air 3.3 now supports iOS6 and Apple wants to test my app on iOS6.

Did anyone have this problem? Is there anything I can do make my app go live? God knows when Apple will release iOS6, I don't want to wait that long...

I got reply from Customer Support:

I checked your app and noticed that it has been approved but is currently waiting for the public release of OS X Mountain Lion.

Since your app includes "Game Center Groups" - new in Mountain Lion - your app will be available once Mountain Lion releases, later this month <http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2012/06/11Mountain-Lion-Available-in-July-From-Mac-App-Store.html>. As noted on Game Center for Developers <https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/gamecenter/>, you can submit apps with Game Center Groups now, so they'll be ready when OS X Mountain Lion launches.

As soon as OS X Mountain Lion is available, your app will automatically be processed for the App Store.

Best Regards,

I don't quite understand what my iPhone app has to do with new version of OS X, but the good thing is - this is not about iOS6. Hopefully this Mountain Lion will be released soon.
