OS X 10.8.3 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7

When trying to install an AIR application (WiMP), I get the following message:

The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged.

Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.

This is my log output:

The error leads me to believe that the file has been damaged.  Is this .air file available on the web so I can give it a try?

I'm having the same difficulty when I try to update my Adobe Muse. It goes through the install and at the end, I get the same error message as the original poster.

Does this mean I have to uninstall Air and start over?

@kriaase - I suspect there is something setup incorrectly on aspiro.com.  When I downloaded the air file on my Mac (os 10.8.3) I received the same error that you did.  I copied it to a USB drive and then tried the same file on my Windows machine.  Again, the same error.  Next I downloaded the file from the server on Windows.  This time the .air file ran without any problems.  I copied this file over to USB and tried on the Mac.  Presto, the installer worked as expected.  Hope this helps.

Didn't work for me... The file doesn't even run in win7 when I download it there... I'm starting to give up. Thanks for the effort anyway!
