I'm trying to install Adobe Air and i keep getting the following error..."An error occurred while installing Adobe Air. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." I am the administrator on my pc and I have made sure I'm logged in as such. I have tried all the troubleshooting on the forums and am still unable to find a solution. This is preventing me from using a certain application that requires AA to run so I would like to find a solution. Thank you.

Sounded like good advice, but didn't work for me. Also tried setting 'Run as Administrator ', in the "Change Setting for All Users". But still no joy. Other suggestions?

After hunting around and trying various things, looks like the one that worked with Windows 10 Pro is:
Note: I have Admin access to my computer.

1. Followed steps above for setting the Compatability mode for the program as "Run as Administrator".

2. From a command line prompt, go into your folder and run the app as follows,
   (example: C:\Users\<username>\Downloads\AdobeAIRInstaller.exe –silent

To access Command Line Prompt, just type "command" into your search bar.

VERIFY: From your keyboar press Start-X and check "Apps and Features", you should see Adobe Air now listed (if this works for you of course)
