AIR Mobile app using ringtone volume, not media volume

So I've got an app written in AS3 using AIR Mobile. The issue is that the volume of the app seems to be tied to the ringtone volume on my phone, not the media volume. How do I tie my app's volume to media instead of ringtone? If it makes a difference, I'm developing in FlashDevelop. Thanks.

Look into this:

SoundMixer.audioPlaybackMode = AudioPlaybackMode.AMBIENT;

The Play Back mode controls what volume is followed. The default should already be doing what I think you want to do.

Look here for other settings:

AudioPlaybackMode - Adobe ActionScript® 3 (AS3 ) API Reference

'media' might be the one you want.

Yep, setting it to MEDIA got it to work. Thanks. Not sure why it didn't seem to be the default though.
