Question

AIR on iOS, iPad Mini

I got an iPad Mini recently and am trying to create an IPA for iPad Mini for a game.

I used AIR for iOS 3.5.XX version of the SDK and published, but I was experiencing random crashes. One other shocker was the app regularly crashed when I went into stagewebview screen or when I was typing with virtual keyboard of iOS. Besides, the game ran for few minutes only when I compiled for iPhone 320 X 480 screensize. When I compile to Retina or iPad standard, I found it crash much earlier.

I'm doubtful if I've not set up the SDKs properly or something like that.

This is what I'm doing,

Inside Help->Manage AIR SDKs, I select AIR3.5 folder and in publish settings I use AIR for iOS 3.5.XX, publish is successful. But next time, I go into the same Manage AIR SDKs, I see the selection to be AIR 3.2. This is a bug in Flash Pro CS 6?

Any hints ?

How can I effectively debug / profile these apps ? Should I use Scout ?

PS : The game doesn't have any issues. I am able to run the same game on Android, without problems.

If this is insufficient info, please let me know..

Thanks

Mani

Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea, where to look for issues ?

Has anyone compiled successfully to iPad Mini ?
