Click the voice input button, and the voice input panel show up. Then all the animations stop, and all the buttons are not reponsible.

the logs are:

I am having a similar issue with the app I am developing. I tried upgrading from Air 3.9.1050 to the new beta Air sdk released on October 29 (3.9.1250) and the issue still existed. My log file looks very similar to the log file posted above:

When I rolled my application back to using Air SDK 3.6 the voice recording worked again so it seems to be some sort of problem with the new SDK.

Another time that I looked at my log file while trying to figure out what was breaking, it provided some slightly different information than the previous one. It said:

Particularly of interest was the message dated at Oct 30 11:46:40 where it seems to give a more detailed explanation of what caused it to crash than the other log. Hopefully this can be of some help. The app crashes for me every time I try to do voice input- oddly enough if I have a prompt attatched the the TextArea that I am attempting to record into, it appears to display the recorded text in the prompt area- light grey and over the top of the previous prompt rather than as if were actually inputting it into the text box.

I have managed to reporoduce it in a test application I built. Please don't mind how terrible it is, it was the first thing I did in actionscript when I was still learning. Also I am providing a link to the sdk I am using to compile.

project: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByMvxedGT9HfYklVVDRmVkNaNDQ/edit?usp=sharing

sdk: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByMvxedGT9HfdHJIVVFRUldLT1E/edit?usp=sharing

Please let me know if you can't download it or something. In order to reproduce the bug, open the application, hit the start button, tap the textArea beneath all the other junk so it brings up the keyboard, hit the microphone button and speak into the microphone.

You will notice how the text is grey'd out and after that is done, many of the buttons stop working. The text imput boxes still seem to work for some reason, but many of the buttons do not.

Hi,

I am not able to reproduce the issue on iOS 7 using AIR 3.9.0.105. After giving voice input, animation plays well and also, all the buttons are working fine.

If possible, please share the sample app as it would help in investigating the issue.

Thanks,

Pranali

I wanted to make sure that you saw that I did upload some more information about the bug and a project file that it can be reproduced on. I don't know how the notification system works on this board, but I responded to the original poster rather than you. Please see my other replies in topic to see my information.
