Yes, I did what you both suggested and it still didn't work.  What did finally work was installing under a different user profile (I created a new one).  It downloaded just fine on the new profile, but still wouldn't work on the other (my regular) profile.  So I'm functioning on two profiles and that's fine for now.  I'm still curious what the real issue is with the other profile, but I definitely I don't want to delete that profile -- they did that to me at work and it took quite awhile to get "my world" back!

Thanks.

Try launching the app with your normal user account.  AIR apps should be installed and usable by all users on a system.

I did try launching on the normal account, but it still wouldn't launch on that one.  I know it should, but it doesn't.

Since the error message says the installer is damaged, I assume you tried downloading a new copy?

Reboot and try installing again?

If Roy's suggestions don't work, you can also try downloading the .air file directly and double clicking it to install.
