AIR3.0 Android Captive Runtime works - but Install Problems from Android Market
Hi,
I packaged my Android apps for AIR3.0 with the captive runtime (used Flash CS5.5 and command line adt).
This worked as intended.
Afterwards I published updates of my apps to the Android Market, e.g.:
https://market.android.com/details?id=air.Kuckuck_MULTI&feature=more_from_developer (English version)
https://market.android.com/details?id=air.Kuckuck_MULTI_DE&feature=more_from_developer (German version)
(apps are animated books for kids, still free to download).
Now the following situation occurs:
I can download this app or update it without any problems.
BUT: If directly afterwards I try to download or update ANOTHER of my AIR3.0 captive runtime apps from the Android Market I get an error msg stating that "there is not enough memory on my device".
There IS enough free memory on my device (Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 with lots of free internal memory).
After I reboot my Galaxy Tab I suddenly can install/update the next of my AIR3.0 apps - but only one, the the memory msg appears again.
After this I reboot and can download the next app, etc.
YOU CAN TRY THIS:
1. Just download & install the first one of my apps (search for "Frankie Frog")
2. then download the German Version (search for "Kuckuck") -> memory error msg
3. reboot your device and try again -> success
I compiled these two apps using the default installation options, so you can't move the app to SD card and the apps are automatically installed to internal memory.
I'm very interessted to learn if some of you have the same problems.
P.S.:
No such problems with AIR2.7 (but there was no captive runtime support, so we can't compare this).
