AIR3 captive runtime on Android ARMv6

I know AIR3 could only be installed on Android devices with ARMv7 (or above) CPUs.

What about the apk packaged with captive runtime? would the same limitation applies?

Yes. The AIR runtime does not function properly (maybe at all) on ARM 6 devices. This is the reason for the restriction in the first place. Bundling the runtime with your applicatioin does not change anything.

I've tried a sample app on a G1 and it gives me a FC once started.

Too bad there are still a lot of (existing/new) ARMv6 devices
