AIRGamepad API/feature still available?

Has the the AIRGamepad API/feature been removed from the latest AIR for Android?

I've developed a steering system for a game that I'm developing using the gamepad api.... it worked great 'till a few days ago.

Now the Android Air app doesn't display the PIN of devices when shaking them.

I'm currently running AIR 17.0.0.144.

Is this a bug or has the feature been removed?
