Alternative to record audio

Is there a way to use the default audio recorder from the device, similar to the way we use the CameraUI to take pics? A AudioRecorderUI?

Hi, markc888. Thanks for your answer, but this method is still using the microphone class from Flash. This is not a viable way to record a sound and save it in a compressed format.

The last time I looked MP3 was classed as a compressed format.
