Android Air Hide Soft Menu Button (Keyboard.MENU)

Hello:

I have been searching all day for such a tiny thing. How do I hide the soft menu button on the Android using the code for my Air app? I can detect when someone hits the Keyboard.Menu button but I can't hide it. Is there a manifest xml line I can add?

(I'm refering to the button on bottom of the screen near the back button).

Did you ever figure out how to hide the soft menu button? On devices like the HTC One X or S, it looks terrible becasue it uses 10% of the screen.

Basically this picture sums it up. A button the entire width of the screen. I dont even use it. If I set the sdktargetversion to 15 in the manifest, it gets rid of it but then causes my admob ad to not rotate correctly. If it is possible to hide this in skdtargetversion=11, I need to know. This added useless button causes my UI to really shrink down.
