Android resolution problem

Hi,

I am making a side scroller game that uses quite a lot of bitmaps for both parallax scrolling and enemies. The game runs great on iOS in gpu mode thanks to being able to run it in lower resolution, but on Android the resolution on some devices is so crazy high that the game becomes really slow.

Since the game is using pixel art I need to resize all bitmaps at start to avoid the bluriness that otherwise shows (since we can't remove antialiasing on scaled Bitmaps).

So without being able to remove antialiasing on scaled bitmaps and only being able to use the highest display resolution available I am pretty stuck when it comes to Android performance.

Any ideas?
