Any alternatives to iTunes to transfer apps from PC to iPhone?

Because right now it's quite slow and bothersome to transfer apps to the iPhone for testing. And iTunes is really slow on my PC.

I saw a video on YouTube once where a guy used another program to transfer his apps to the iPhone. He said he didn't like iTunes as it was slow and a resource hog, so he used this 'other' program which made it way faster.
