App security?

Hi,

Is there any way to have our app check if it has been legaly purchased or not? I worry about paying bandwidth charges for files delivered from my remote server to stolen/crackked copies.

Ideas?

I am guessing this is on Android, since on Apple it is fairly secure due to Apple's strict distribution limitations. On Android you can implement a license, there is an ANE that will help you with this, but it seems cumbersome and complex, but not impossible. Search Android License Adobe AIR or something along those lines.

Actually, I am on iOS. The problem is that jailbroken devices can install cracked apps. Although piracy on iOS is probably not as bad as on Android, it's a pretty big deal if you're paying for your app's bandwidth usage...
